Breastfeeding cuts breast cancer risk
Read in TODAY (what is familiar and known research) that Breastfeeding cuts breast cancer risk. (see article)
The research found that women with a family history of breast cancer can cut their risk of the disease by breastfeeding.
But the study found no link between breastfeeding and reduced risk of cancer for women without a history of breast cancer in their family.
Here in Singapore, the BreastFeeding Mothers’ Support Group spreads its message on sharing the benefits of breastfeeding and to encourage and support mothers and mothers-to-be to breastfeed their babies. You may wish to visit their website @ http://www.breastfeeding.org.sg/
