CPF Interest Rate Computed 3.40% for Special, Medisave & Retirement Accounts

The latest CPF interest rate for Special, Medisave and Retirement Accounts is computed to be 3.40% for the period 1 October - 31 December 2009. Details @ http://mycpf.cpf.gov.sg/CPF/News/News-Release/N_3Sep2009.htm

However, this rate is maintained at 4.00% up till end of 31 Dec 2009.

From 1 Jan 2010 onwards, this interest rate is pegged to the 12-month average yield of the 10-year Singapore Government Security (10YSGS) plus 1%. A minimum floor rate of 2.50% will apply for all CPF accounts.
