AIA S$ Wealth Accumulator Tranche 2
In their 2nd Tranche, AIA S$ Wealth Accumulator returns. Of late, a number of insurers (NTUC, Prudential, HSBC and Great Eastern) have launched single premium saving endowments to attract risk-averse investors to park their monies with them. Some have yields ranging from 1.4% pa to 2.5% pa for period of 2 -5 years. Some have closed for subscription.
AIA has now jumped onto the bandwagon. A quick brief of this plan as follows:
Tranche 2 features:
- Guaranteed net return of up to 2.55% per annum (for $50,000 and above) [total return = 13.42%]
- 5-Year Savings Plan
- 100% Capital/Principal secured at end of year 3
- No medical underwriting; guaranteed issuance
- Payout on claim event of death/TPD
- Minimum investment: $10,000
- Maximum age to apply: 70 years (age last birthday)
Tranche will close once subscription amount is reached. For info, Tranche 1 offered guaranteed yield up to 2.75%pa for $75,000 and above invested.
