TM Wealth Enhancement (ENRICH) & NTUC Growth
Tokio Marine Life has launched its latest single premium plan, TM Wealth Enhancement (ENRICH). It’s a 5 year participating savings plan which matures with bonuses. From the look of it, it is almost similar to NTUC Growth plan.
Here’s some of the details in comparison:
Death/TPD benefit
NTUC – higher of sum assured + bonus OR 125% single premium/cash value (unless due to age/health condition)
TM – 125% of single premium + attaching bonuses (unless due to age/health condition)
Accidental death benefit
NTUC – 2X of original sum assured + attaching bonuses
TM – additional benefit (equivalent to death/TPD benefit excluding bonuses) other than death/TPD benefit
What’s of greater interest is the yield on principal.
Investment of $200,000 and above command a slightly higher return.

One must remember NTUC projected return on underlying life fund (projected 3.75%pa and 5.25%pa) differs from that of Tokio Marine. TM utilizes a lower projected return rate of 3.00%pa and 4.50%pa.
